2026-01-18 (13.0.13.4.14; 7-Ix 12-Muwaan): Release 4
Major upgrade of the Concordance(s) and CMGG0 (syllabogram) entries
Concordance(s)
- Up until now, a single concordance table showed the matches between T-number, MHD code, TWKM code, and CMGG entry (with functionality to sort by any of these columns)
- This has been replaced by independent tables where each classification system is "leading" (currently only MHD, TWKM, and CMGG are supported).
- This better supports the one-to-many, many-to-one, and many-to-many relationships between the different codes and CMGG entries
- Meanings were added for the first time to the TWKM Catalog in August 2025
- These meanings are now displayed in the LMGG Concordance tables
- The Concordance entries were formerly out of sync with MHD and TWKM, being behind by several months or even years. These have now been brought as closely into sync as possible with MHD and TWKM (the latter two systems being dynamic, there is always a possibility of a slight lag before changes in MHD or TWKM are reflected in LMGG):
- Glyph examples and/or codes added to the catalogs of MHD and TWKM were added to the Concordances
- Glyph examples and/or codes removed from the catalogs of MHD and TWKM were removed from the Concordances
- Glyph examples and/or codes changed in the catalogs of MHD and TWKM were updated in the Concordances
- The matching of MHD, TWKM, T-numbers and CMGG entries was thoroughly revised and updated
- The presentation of the MHD and TWKM glyph examples was upgraded so that all catalog examples are now immediately visible, rather than the user having to hit <more>
CMGG content
- Major upgrade of CMGG0 (syllabograms)
- Standardized the format of the bullet-point style of presentation (there were previously two different styles)
- Added more variants of syllabograms and improved the nicknames of existing variants
- The last 21 variants with no bullet-points provided with bullet points
- Added statistics on the distribution of variants of a syllabogram (based on the MHD "Classic - Blocks" corpus)
- Added screenshots of MHD and Bonn (catalog) examples - particularly useful when statistics of the distribution of variants of a syllabogram are given, as these statistics are often expressed using the MHD code of each variant
- Minor adjustments and improvements to CMGG1 and CMGG2
Inscriptions:
- Upgraded the links in the MHD transliteration column of the three-pane TTTs to reflect the new style of presentation of glyph examples from the MHD Catalog (similar in format to that in the MHD-leading Concordance)
- An automatic consequence of this is that the examples displayed are now much more in sync with the live situation in MHD (as much in sync as the examples in the MHD-leading Concordance)
Videos and printed references:
- Added a few more citations
- Standardized the abbreviations of CMGG citations to conform to a much stricter convention for abbreviating the title
2025-08-28 (13.0.12.15.11; 7-Chuwen 9-Mol): Release 3.2

- Google Translate widget (GTW) added to almost all pages, for Spanish translation (exception: CMGG PDFs that are "database")
- Page markup added to support Spanish translation (e.g., to not translate Maya words)
- A few PDFs translated to Spanish and many changed to HTML to allow addition of GTW
- “Background to CMGG and LMGG” updated to
cover the addition of the Spanish version (why it was desired and how it was implemented)
- Brief "Versión en español" notes added to homepage
Bibliography update (including Videos)

About
2024-11-23 (13.0.12.1.13; 2-Ben 16-Keh): Release 3
Main update:
Addition of TTTs (Transliteration-Transcription-Translations)
Smaller updates: Some new and many updated CMGG entries, some new matches in the Concordance rows, 36 videos added, updates to documentation mainly to support the addition of TTTs
The website was also renamed to remove explicit mention of the Concordance, now regarded as just a major section of the site, like the newly added TTTs section. Accordingly, the abbreviation for the site is now LMGG (Learner's Maya Glyph Guide), while CMGG continues to refer to Sim Lee's
Classic Maya Glyph Guide, which contains the content basis for the website.
Simply put:
- CMGG = PDF publication
- LMGG = website
