·    Features – a horizontally rectangular bipartite glyph:

o Left: A washer.

o Right:

§ An ovalish or (bloated) L-shaped element, with, inside it

§ One or two slightly curved lines (or a slightly curved bold line).

·    For a long time this glyph was mistaken for TE’ (perhaps used acrophonically for te), hence the name Chelte' Chan K'inich (now Chelew Chan K'inich). In other inscriptions also mistaken for yu. Correctly deciphered in ZenderEtAl-TSSw.

·    Subvariants (2):

o A. Single strand inside.

o B. Double strand (or bold single strand) inside.
